Yummo! Mermaid is jumping

The warm weather colliding with the Easter hols has brought the locals out & the tourists in force.

Gotta love Mermaid with the beach running parallel to us it's time to jump on down to Amor, grab a takeout pizza or pasta or dine in, in our chic Italian atmosphere to the tunes of 'Volare' or something a little different like 'Eros Ramazzotti'.

We are handmaking all of our pizzas for anyone who appreciates quality & freshness in every single scrumptious bite :)

It was always 'a pinch myself moment when I happened to bicycle by or drive by this magnificent ampitheatre rising from the dirt.

                              Yum, yum Amor is putting on a feast for our new Mermaid location.

Some great specials include:

Calamari Fritti- beer battered calamari on a bed of rice

Pasta al Tonno- penne in a rich napoli and tuna sauce with a sprig of herbs, served al dente

Gnocchi alla Sorrentina- we've taken Nonna's secrets to make a delicious dish. Gnocchi in napoli sauce with melted mozzarella cheese and parmigiano.

Pizza made by an Italian....

This is the pizza that Amor delivered to one very happy customer last night.

She called later in the evening to complement us.

Thanks Rose, our dough is handmade to a very special recipe. We use top quality toppings which are always fresh.

         None of our ingredients come from China-no offence but you can taste the difference....when a pizza is made by an Italian....

Pinzimonio- trio of dips with warm, freshly baked pizza bread

Risotto Primavera- creamy risotto with gorgonzola, parmesan and mushrooms
