Savouring the Fragrance of Piazza Navona,Rome

The most delightful couple sat under our painting of Piazza Navona and recounted their tale of an evening spent in the piazza many years ago.

Let's call our Amor diners Carol and Thomas for the sake of our story.

Thomas spoke of a mild balmy late October evening in the company of his one true love Carol, sitting at a restaurant overlooking Bernini's largest fountain in the square. A talented elderly accordian player serenaded them to the tunes of 'Volare' and 'Amore'.

Thomas went on to describe the emotions he felt that evening engulfed in a passionate love affair with the woman he was yet to marry in a place he says 'amplified his love'.

We look forward to greeting this warm and happy couple again who undoubtedly will fragrant our table with more stories from Roma, our home away from home.

                    Ciao from Amor Mermaid Beach
